Guidelines for Authors

  1. Abstract: An abstract of the article in about 500 words - spelling out clearly the specific aim of the article and the summary of the content, along with a list of key words (maximum 6).
  2. Personal Information: Some information about the author, designation, affiliation, details of previous publications, if any, etc. (N.B.: We strongly discourage the tendency in some circles just to add the names of additional persons as “co-authors”. In fact, we prefer to publish articles by a single author unless it was actually written by two or more persons).
  3. Length: The length of the article should be between 3500 and 4000 words - neither longer nor shorter.
  4. Language: The language - grammar, punctuations, style, etc. -- has to be properly checked and corrected (if need be, with the help of others), before sending it for consideration for publication. N.B.: Please use UK English only.
  5. Format: The entire article is to be submitted only in soft copy and in MS Word Format. No other format will be acceptable.
  6. Footnote/Endnote: Whenever additional information or further explanations are required, such matters should be given as footnotes or      endnotes, with suitable numeric superscript indications in the appropriate location of the body of the text.
  7. References: It is absolutely necessary to provide the required references in the body of the text, so that the readers are informed about the sources of the data, information, views or opinions. Further, the author is solely responsible for the accuracy of all the figures, quotations and references.
  8.  Referencing System: Please follow MLA style of referencing.
  9. Graphs, Charts and Figures: All graphs, charts and figures should be numbered and these should be given only in black and white. The space given to graphs, charts and figures should not exceed around 20% of the entire article.
  10. Genuine Research Work: We encourage only genuine research articles, which use either the primary data or the secondary data, including the Internet. Further, we encourage only articles that are creative, researched, reflected upon, analytical and critical. Hence, we will not accept an article that is just copied from different websites, books or journals and assembled or pasted together.
