The core
objective of the Department of Governance and Civil Society (DGC)
is to strengthen the Organizations at various levels in
performing their key tasks effectively, efficiently and with the
minimum hassles. This includes governance issues and management
of human resources along with operations re-engineering. The
Department aims at strengthening networking and liaisoning with
other stakeholders and makes efforts to broaden the scope of its
interventions. The key focus areas of the Department are:
renewal of organizational systems, managing change, development
of an action research intervention model and problem-solving.
The Department also focuses on establishing its niche
in the Government and Corporate sector as consultants,
especially in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility,
Business Process Re-engineering and Knowledge Management.
Special orientation is given to the Corporate Houses to minimize
the cost of their existence and contribute positively and
responsibility to their environment and people around. Regarding
the Government Organizations special thrust is given to
organizational structures, governance, reengineering issues, and
knowledge and change management. |
